As greatful I know these people are, and me as well, I still cannot understand why they must live in tents. Why not build them real homes? They are human with needs just like the rest of us. I was a refugee myself once, and I understand their pain as my own. With this said, I think you are amazing for doing this to them, when no one else helps you step in and do something. But these are not homes...a tent can never make a home! These tents are the reason the Ezidis are leaving their land.

Thank you for your concern for the Yazidi peoples. We've been so busy as of late with the refugees and IDPs in Northern Iraq that we haven't been able to update everyone on what we've done. Many of these Yazidis don't actually use their tents to live in, but merely as their sitting area or to store their belongings. We've built homes for over 100 of them, and the others all have their own kitchen/living areas as well as bathrooms and showers. We'd like to build actual homes for all of them, and you can help us with that by giving here: https://interland3.donorperfect.net/weblink/weblink.aspx?name=worldorphans&id=50 With your help we can provide homes for them all.
